Trailborn Rocky Mountains Hotel Estes Park, Estes Park

The hotel room was below an average room experience with a strong smell of cigarette smoke. We even had uninvited guests wanting to use our bathroom after a party on the shared balcony. It felt old and like a jail cell, not meeting our expectations.

My experience at the hotel was quite disappointing. The rooms were in terrible condition of disrepair, old, smelly, and dirty, with various issues like holes in the carpet and unfinished walls. The advertised pool was abandoned, containing only stagnant water and broken chairs. However, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making the stay somewhat manageable. The location was the only slightly positive aspect, being in a picturesque area close to downtown Estes Park and the fairgrounds.

My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The location was convenient with easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park, making everything 10 times better. However, the rooms were disappointing with filthy conditions, old furniture, and various maintenance issues. The service was friendly and helpful despite the room issues. The dining experience left much to be desired, but the facilities were satisfactory.
